Find a quiet place, sit comfortably, take some slow deep breaths and take a few moments reflecting on your thoughts and feelings. Visualize a circle of light and imagine yourself in the centre of it.
Be very honest with yourself. How have your thoughts and actions contributed to your current situation? This self-reflection is important in helping to identify any negative beliefs or patterns that may be contributing factors and need to be forgiven.
Repeat the mantra several times:
I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you
As you say each phrase, direct it to yourself or anyone you feel needs to hear it. Really believe in the words. Notice any sensations in your body as you repeat the phrases.
