Live Your Best Life With Gratitude

Do you want to create positive change in your life? Do you want to live your best life? Do you want more fun, more joy, more connectedness to others?

A very good place to start is by practicing more gratitude daily. Gratitude is a powerful force that has the ability to transform your life in positive ways. By focusing on the things you are grateful for, your perspective can shift to bringing more of what you are grateful for into your life.

I started on my journey to live my best life when I turned 65. It is the best gift I have ever given to myself. The gratitude I feel for everything that lead me to making this choice is immense. I feel the universe is blessing me along the way.

Here are a few reasons why gratitude is so important in living your best life:

  1. Gratitude brings you into the present moment: Our days are filled with various stress and demands, gratitude helps us focus on the present so we are able to appreciate what we have right now.

  2. Gratitude helps us develop positive connections with others: When we express gratitude towards others we can strengthen our connections and foster a sense of mutual appreciation.

  3. Gratitude helps us cope with challenges: When we focus on the things we are grateful for, it can help us to stay in a higher vibration allowing for ease allowing for a better perspective while dealing with issues that arise throughout the day.

  4. Gratitude helps us attract more positivity into our lives. The Law of Attraction states like attracts like. Focusing on gratitude and positive thoughts will start to attract more gratitude and positivity into our lives.

  5. Gratitude helps improve our mental and physical health. Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can lead to improved mental health, better sleep, and even a stronger immune system.

Developing an attitude of gratitude can open up a whole new world for you. It is easy to do and it can change your whole perspective on your life and how you interact with the world around you.

Here are a few tips to start incorporating gratitude into your life:

  1. Keep a gratitude journal. Each morning, write down a few things you are grateful for. It could be something as simple as a beautiful sunset or a delicious meal. In the evening write in your journal everything you are grateful for throughout the day.

  2. Share your gratitude with others. Expressing your gratitude towards the people close to you can strengthen your relationship and builds a stronger connection.

  3. Practice mindfulness. Be present in the moment and pay attention to your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Adding mindfulness into your daily routine takes you away from worrying about the past or future and can cultivate a sense of gratitude for what is happening right now.

  4. Use affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements or phrases that you repeat to yourself in order to reprogram your mind and shift your focus towards your goals and desires. When I use affirmations I ask for them to come to me with ease, this sets the stage for them to appear in your life without struggle. Repeat your affirmations with conviction and feel the emotions behind them this helps to make them more powerful.

I have used positive affirmations for the past 30+ years. Using them regularly has kept me focused and on track throughout my day. Setting a regular time to do my affirmations has kept me balanced and centered. I have an affirmation journal that is a go to in my life when I feel off track. Below are some of the affirmations I have in my affirmation journal.

Positive gratitude affirmations:

  • I am grateful for the abundance that flows to me with ease and happiness.

  • I gratefully receive peace and calm in my life with ease.

  • I am thankful for the simple things in life that come to me with ease and joy.

  • I am grateful for the positive conversations I have with my family with ease.

  • I am thankful for the love and support that flows to me with ease

  • I am grateful for the beauty all around me.

  • I am grateful for how I am able to accomplish my goals with ease.

  • I am grateful for how I am able to deal with the challenges in my life with ease.

  • I am grateful for the blessings from the universe.

  • I am grateful for the supportive people that come into my life.

  • I am grateful for the ease that money flows into my life.

  • I choose to see the good in every situation and I am thankful for all of it.

  • I reach my goals with gratitude and ease.

  • I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.

  • I choose to focus on the positive and be grateful for everything in my life.

The more emotion you put into your affirmations, the more powerful they are.

Find a place where you won't be disturbed and repeat them with enthusiasm, raising your energy level while repeating them raises the energy of your words. I like to sit quietly in the morning and focus on my affirmations while I enjoy my cup of coffee, this gives me a positive boost for my day.

I would like to see you incorporating a morning affirmation routine, my advice is to just get started and it will become easier for you and become a natural part of your daily routine. The sooner you start the sooner you will experience the benefits of gratitude and start living your best life.

Remember, it's a journey and it will take some time, keep practicing and you will start to notice your world has changed and you have created a positive mindset.
