The Secret to Living Your Best Life Every Day


Want to live your best life?


Do you start out planning to live your best life and get lost along the way. Why does it seem like others are able to live wonderful full lives and you seem to feel like a struggle for you to make that happen. Is there some sort of secret you just aren't getting? Does every day seem more like a struggle, a job rather than like you are living your best life every day?


The reality is a combination of things you can do to start living your best life now.

You can have your cake and eat it too. Here are 14 tips on what you can do to start living your best life today.


  1. Live in the now: The past is in the past and the future hasn't happened. Putting your focus on the past and future is wasting valuable energy that you could be using to enjoy today. Stop to smell the flowers, be grateful for what you have and enjoy the journey. Appreciate what happens when it happens.

  2. Healthy Habits: Set yourself a healthy regular routine. Strive to go to bed at the same time and get up at the same time each day. Don't smoke and limit your alcohol to a maximum of 4 alcohol beverages per week. Avoid energy drinks they are generally loaded with caffeine or sugar. Starting your day with a healthy protein breakfast some stretching and a regular exercise program will give you a positive start to your morning.

  3. Self-care: Taking care of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual sides are all essential for maintaining a happy, balanced, healthy body and attitude. Be sure to schedule time to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Regular exercise, time outdoors, meditation, spa days, reading, writing and time spent alone relaxing are all wonderful ways to give back to you.

  4. Know yourself: What do you want to achieve in your life? What makes you happy? By setting clear goals you can focus your energy and efforts on the things that matter most to you. Write out your goals and how you intend to take steps towards them and a time frame of when you will complete your goal. Having a clear plan will give you a visual of the steps you need to successfully accomplish your goal.

  5. What are your passions and hobbies: Do the things that bring you joy and fulfillment. Whether it's painting, gardening, or playing a musical instrument, make time for the activities that light you up. Make plans to try new activities and create more interests.

  6. De-clutter: Free up your living space and your energy by de-cluttering. If you are no longer using an item recycle it or give it to someone that could really use. it This will give you more time to do the things you love and can create a life you love to live.

  7. Clean up your social media: Reduce stress by cleaning up your social media and only keeping positive uplifting friends and subscriptions. You want items that energize you, lift you up, that make you smile and have a positive effect on your overall well being.

  8. Be grateful: The law of attraction states like attracts like, so keep your focus on what you are grateful for and you will create more of it. Focusing on the things you are grateful for shifts your perspective and creates a positive mindset. Keeping a gratitude journal or sharing your gratitude will create a powerful change in your whole life.

  9. Find like minded people: Seek out positive, inspiring and supportive people that have similar goals, ideals and values. It's the people you spend time with that have the biggest impact on your mindset and overall happiness. Eliminate negativity in your life and let go of negative people.

  10. It's ok to say No: It's easy to get overwhelmed throughout your day and overextend yourself. Remember that it's okay to say no to things that don't align with your goals or values. Let your friends and family know you have overextended yourself at this time and need to respectfully decline.

  11. Be open to change and taking risks. Keep finding new experiences and opportunities to learn and grow. Step out of your comfort zone, take a risk, open up your world and see what amazing things that might become available to you. Life can be short, enjoy the ride.

  12. Forgive yourself and others: Holding onto grudges and resentment is toxic to you and your body. It can prevent you from living your best life. Do yourself a favor free yourself, forgive and let go of any negative emotions that are holding you back. Free up the space for something good to come it.

  13. Let go of judgment: Judgment puts you in a space of always comparing. Comparing yourself to someone else puts you in a mindset of lack, of not being good enough. Letting go of judgement will give you more ease and peace of mind. And it will free up space for you to have more fun and live your best life.

  14. Be your best cheerleader: You have the power to create the life you want. Believe in yourself and your abilities, you've got this! Celebrate your wins and celebrate your loses. Loses are worth celebrating because you win by learning and growing from your experience.


Try implementing these strategies into your daily routine and you can start living your best life every day. Be gentle with yourself, it's a journey, it may not happen as fast as you would like. Enjoy the journey and keep at it and before you know it you will be living your best life too.
